More MOST Testimonials

I wanted to update you on our status! Our triplets were born on October 15th, 2004 at 32 weeks! Jack (4 lb, 1 oz), Cathryn (3 lb, 10 oz) and Ava (4 lb) were all healthy, spent a little over a month in the NICU, and all were home by Thanksgiving.

They continue to thrive, and at 3.5 months they all weigh around 10 lbs each and are smiling and laughing and starting to reach for things. Our house is a very busy place these days, but we are loving every minute! I also wanted to complement MOST on your excellent information - I look forward to reading stories about other MOST families as they are always interesting, entertaining and informative. Thanks!

Thanks MOST for all you do. This organization has always been so helpful to me!!!

Sincerely,
Misty, Mom of Alexa (15.6oz), Kameron (1lb 3oz), Izak (1lb 3oz), Halee (1lb 4oz), Chase (1lb 6oz) 24 weeks 2 days

The first triplet mother I met was Sue Walsh. I am so thankful for Sue's support and friendship.

I also remember being on bedrest and having Maureen Boyle call me. She gave me tons of great advice, and with that, hope. I was impressed that she took time out of her busy schedule to call me.

I always rely on information from MOST to give me a realistic view of life with multiples. I truly appreciate not sugar-coating the challenges, while still celebrating the joys.

MOST has been a great help to me in so many ways! Whenever I think I can't do it anymore I read about other MSOT families and then everything seems okay again!

MOST has really helped my family especially when I was pregnant with our triplets, but MOST was exactly what I needed to get me through.

The online forums are very helpful. I can see how others have coped with a certain obstacle. And being able to call has made things easier for me to have that support.

Thanks!

Our family has so very much to be thankful for this holiday season, and MOST is right up there on the list! Our GBGB quads are 3 years old, and we just don't know where we would be without MOST, and especially without the QQS group.

In late February and early March of 2001, we were facing a very difficult decision, with one of our doctors recommending pregnancy reduction, while the other doctor was telling us that he would support us no matter which decision we chose.

Through a friend from church, we were guided to MOST and the QQS group. Not only were you inspirational in helping us make our decision to keep all of our babies, but you provided invaluable information and support through a very difficult pregnancy.

Due to complications, I started partial bed rest at just 6 weeks and ended up in the hospital on full bed rest at 18 weeks. I spent almost 13 weeks in the hospital and experienced a few more complications along the way, but every minute of every day was worth it because we now have four beautiful, healthy and terrific children that we are so very proud of! We continue to enjoy the QQS group three years later for all of the wonderful insight other moms of multiples have to share. Your experiences, advice and words of wisdom certainly make life a little easier on us all. Thank you, thank you, thank you ... and may you all have a safe and happy holiday season!

A few years ago we were having an especially difficult time. I was going through many medical issues and not feeling well. As with most families with children, our budget was tight. We were managing, but things had definitely been easier than that year. I specifically remember the day that I was touched by MOST.

It was Christmas morning and we went outside to realize there was a large package on our front porch. It was a care package from someone from MOST. In the package there were clothes, toys, and other things that definitely lifted our spirits. We also received our membership free for that year and were so very grateful. This is one of the things that we probably would have had to do without. We felt as though an “angel” had really touched our lives. We have no idea who had sent the package, and have no idea how it was realized that we were having a difficult time. As usual even through the difficult times, I am still “supermom” and just don’t let others know when things are tough. Thank you to all of the caring people at MOST, you have definitely touched many lives.

My husband and I had only had our quadruplets home for about a month when two became ill with RSV and ended up in the hospital. It was a very worrisome and exhausting time for us. MOST provided us with a lot of information that helped us to understand RSV and what we could do as parents. They let us know about the Synagis shot and were there for moral support. It meant a lot to us that there were people who had experienced the same thing and were so willing to offer there advice and support. I couldn't get over how quickly my phone call was returned.

Also MOST was a big part of my life when I was pregnant. I looked forward to reading about other MSOT families and I still do! As parents of multiples your lives quickly change and where I live there isn't a lot of support for people with higher order multiples, as in there isn't a lot of people in the same situation that you can learn from, so when I talk with other MSOT families, for a brief moment, feel like our situation is as normal as everyone else's because I can relate to their stories of multiples. Thank you MOST! Rachael

Thanks, I can't tell you how much MOST has meant to me. We never expected multiples and had never met any multiple families (except twins, of course). Although our doctors did not pressure us to reduce, neither did they present continuing the pregnancy as an option. We just did not feel comfortable with reduction.

The support I have found here is wonderful. I am 16 weeks now and feel great so far. With sincere thanks, a friend for life
