Email Groups
In
addition to the MOST website online forums, MOST has email based online
groups to meet other multiple families. Each group provides support,
a place to ask questions, make friends and to share your joys and struggles
of a multiple birth family! Below is a short description of each group.
Please join us.
 |
NEW!
Regional Groups. Based on USA geographical areas these
nine groups will let members meet other families in their state
and region. All families with triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets
and more are welcome! There are nine regions so that members will
be able to meet other families near their home state. |
 |
QQS,
otherwise known as Quads, Quints, Sextuplets and More. Over 125
families with quads or more belong to this group. If you are expecting
quads, quints or more or already have them in your family you
are welcome to join! |
 |
Special
Needs families of higher order multiples are sometimes
faced with special needs beyond the challenges of a multiple birth.
This group is open to any member of MOST who would like to share
information, resources, joys and struggles of raising children
with special challenges. Approximately 75 families are members
of this special group. |
 |
Large
Family- The Large Family email group is open to any MOST
family with 5 or more children of any age. There are more than
30 families participating in this network. Share strategies and
stories of the larger than most family. |
 |
Single
Parent- This group provides support for families headed
by a single parent. This group is designed to facilitate peer-to-peer
support through the exchange of ideas and experiences between
MOST members who are single mothers or fathers of triplets, quadruplets
or more. The group currently has 25 members. |
 |
Another
of our groups is the School Age group. Members
with school age (K-12) triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets,
or more can join this group. Through this group the members can
share resources, questions, and ideas, as well as the challenges
and rewards of day-to-day life as their multiples grow older.
If your multiples are within 6 months of kindergarten or are already
in elementary, junior high or high school, we hope you join the
over 50 families that are a part of this group. |

Double
Digits - Has this happened in your house yet? You wake
up, hear a lot of chatter in the kitchen, and walk out expecting
to see your "babies" sitting in their highchairs with
HUGE smiles on their faces because they are so EXCITED to see you.
You blink - and before you know it, you're looking at teenagers
sitting at the table fighting about who needs to be where at what
time and the only one in the room excited to see you is your dog!
Many of us are at this stage in our children's lives now. We're
out of the baby stages, and ready to embark on another new adventure
of raising preteens and teenagers. This brings on so many new challenges,
joys and questions. To help ease our anxieties, and find support
from other multiple moms, MOST is pleased to introduce its newest
email group, "Double Digits" for families with one or
more children 10 years or older.

AC
is the network for the Area Coordinators to obtain and share
information to make it easier to support our MOST families. Ask questions
or receive ideas about how to make multiple life easier and fun. If
you would like to help other MOST families contact the office to become
an Area Coordinator. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Behind
the scenes other email groups are in place to assist office staff and
volunteers. These involve board members, moderators, the professional
advisory board and other specialty groups.
If
you are interested in joining one or more please contact the MOST office
or go to http://www.mostonline.org/request.htm.
If you have any suggestions for future networks please share!
A
big thanks to the moderators who put in much time adding members, keeping
addresses updated and answering questions from group members about the
various groups! They put in many hours keeping things running smoothly
and these email groups couldn't work without them.
