Fertility:
A Study Links Prayer and Pregnancy
The
New York Times News Service reports on an October 2001 study of
199 women seeking treatment for infertility from 1998 to 1999. Conducted
in Korea, the study found that women who were prayed for by strangers,
without their knowledge, were twice as likely to become pregnant
while undergoing in-vitro fertilization as women who were not receive
prayers from strangers.
