Has anyone purchased or used the Vtech Vsmile? We're thinking about buying it for our girls for their birthday and I'm looking for feedback.

We had it but it broke after about 6 months. Now we have the handheld version. That one is OK, but we have problems with the batteries sitting properly in the battery area.
I have a feeling you are looking at the newer version with the motion. I have not had any experience with it.
I can comment that the games are wonderful for learning letters and numbers! And there is a really good variety.
Have you considered the Leapster that you can connect to the TV? It is handheld and can connect to the TV. Just something else you may want to explore.
We love our Leapster and have had no problems at all with it!
