So we took the monsters out today shopping. We needed winter boots, gloves, etc, etc. We stopped at one of our favorite pizza places for lunch. Everyone is quietly chatting and eating, when all of the sudden Brooklyn holds out her hand with a small white something in it and says "HEY, who's throwing things at me?"
I am at the other end of the table trying to see what is going on. Jim is looking at her hand and is getting ready to scold someone when he looked up at Brooklyn. Her mouth was full of blood! It was her OWN tooth that had fallen out and landed in her hand!!
I laughed SO hard!! The 5 monsters are 7 now and teeth falling out is a common occurrence, but this was the best one yet!

That is so cute!! At least it fell out and didn't get swallowed. My oldest has lost 7 teeth so far and only 3 of them were given to the tooth fairy...the others got swallowed.

We thought that SAME thing! We have not had any swallowed yet, but they have simply lost them. The teeth got bumped out while they were playing, landed in the carpet and were never to be found! That happened several times!

That is so funny!! Bet she is more used to having someone throw something at her than a tooth falling out! My oldest has lost several teeth and swallowed 2-3. Found out he was swallowing the teeth because he didn't want the tooth fairy to come to the house. After that he just wrote the tooth Fairy a letter asking her not to come.
