2007 MOST Holiday Adopt A Family Program
The MOST Holiday Adopt a Family Program for 2007 was a huge success. MOST would like to thank everyone who participated in our program this year. In 2007 the MOST Adopt A Family program:
- Supported over 31 families and 120+ children
- Shipped 41 boxes by UPS and everything arrived in time for the holidays.
- Distributed over $2,000 in donated gift cards from stores like Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, and used additional cash donations on gift memberships to MOST, and other special gifts.
- Had 38 sponsors who donated gifts for the children and parents, store gift cards, membership to MOST, parenting packages, items needed for the home, disposable cameras, wrapping paper, and so very much more!
Although we have a small, very hard working group of volunteers who organize and run the entire program, the support of all the Adopt A Family donors is what makes the program possible. MOST could not support so many families without the love and dedication of our members, families, and friends who took time during the very busy holiday season to think of those less fortunate families they will never meet.

| I'm not sure who nominated us for Adopt A Family, but we received two very large boxes today filled with gifts!!! I was quite surprised to say the least. Luckily the kids were off at their Dad's when they arrived, so I hid them and was able to surprise them. So thank you to whoever made this happen for us, our Christmas was wonderful thanks to the generosity of some caring and generous people!

MOST got a call from a family the other night. The mother expressed how grateful and touched she was saying, "I try not to let people know how hard it is..." She said the coats especially were appreciated as she hadn't bought any yet. She's already read the magazine cover to cover! |

Dear Angel Among Us,
Wow! Words cannot express our appreciation for your generosity during this
time of year. We are so blessed to have our 4 beautiful kids. This gift helped make everyone's
Christmas a little merrier and we had a beautiful dinner with all the
trimmings. We have been blessed to be able to support a family in the past

Dear Donor Family,
I can't thank you enough for the Target gift card! Being only 21 and having
one income from my husband, who is a lower ranking Marine, we don't have
much. But when I saw that card I cried because we were almost out of formula
for the babies and food for us. I'm so thankful that you chose us. The children are my life and I would do anything for them,
but I didn't know how I was going to get their formula. Thank you so much!
We love you for what you did.
