• Supported over 25 families and 120+ children

• Shipped 34 boxes by UPS and everything arrived in time for the holidays.

• Distributed over $8,500 in donated gift cards from stores like Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart and Home Depot. (More money than we ever collected before.)

• Had 42 sponsors who donated gifts for the children and parents, store gift cards, membership to MOST, parenting packages, items needed for the home, disposable cameras, wrapping paper, and so very much more!

• Trained 4 local multiple birth chapters to run their own holiday Adopt A Family program. We are hoping to triple that number next year. Being able to share our hard earned knowledge and helping others to run a successful program is just another way we reach out to those in need.

Although we have a small, very hard working group of volunteers who organize and run the entire program, the support of all the Adopt A Family donors is what makes the program possible. MOST could not support so many families without the love and dedication of our members, families, and friends who took time during the very busy holiday season to think of those less fortunate families they will never meet. The week before Christmas and Hanukah, as the boxes started to arrive at the homes of the families in the program, the phone calls and emails started arriving from families all over the country. One Mom refused our box because she knew she hadn’t ordered anything and would not have the money for return postage if she accepted it. When we called to tell her the box was from an angel who heard about her family and wanted to give them a special holiday, she started to cry. We immediately reshipped the box and it arrived in time for Christmas morning.Wishing everyone a healthy new year.

I was able to completely surprise my children with one in each stocking so they could buy something really nice that they wanted and I was unable to provide. Receiving these gifts has truly been a blessing. I have been going through a lot lately and these gifts are truly needed and it lifted my spirits. My babies were born on January 11th (2 girls and 1 boy) and they are all doing fine. They still are in the NICU in Grand Rapids, MI but they will be coming home soon. Dear Friends at MOST,

I'm in awe and speechless by the package I received today. I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of my "angel." Everything in the boxes is wonderful!  It is so much fun to have new clothes for my children.  I don't think they have ever had that many new clothes at one time. They think new clothes come from the plastic boxes in storage where I keep hand me downs that we receive.  

The kids love books and all those that we received are totally new to us - this is so great!   I'm very excited about the board games.  I love board games and the kids are finally old enough to play and I don't have to try so hard to lose.  We don't have many but the ones we do have they are out growing. 

Please make sure my special "angel" knows what a huge difference she/he has made in our lives! I can not express how grateful I am for your generosity.  A mere "Thank You" just doesn't seem adequate. I am very touched that someone has thought of me.  I don't feel like a needy person. I am very blessed to have what is most important to me, my health and the health of my 5 children.  I don't have money to live an extravagant life but I feel very rich, especially today.  Yes, the gifts are wonderful and I am thankful for them but what means more to me are the angel or angels who gave them to me.

Dear Friends and Angels at MOST,

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unbelievable generosity! When we found out we were expecting triplets, I will not lie- we wondered how on earth we were going to afford them.  My fiancé already has 2 jobs and I am unable to work.  My disability pay is not much and is just a drop in the bucket of our needs every month. We barely keep our heads above water.  We were so very, very excited about the impending arrival of our 3 little miracles and yet we were so very scared as well.

Your kindness has truly touched our hearts. You took away some of our worry and brought tears to our eyes.  We did not realize that there were still such kindhearted people out there. You are truly angels that they say walk among us! I only hope that we can someday pay this forward and help out another family such as ours down the line.
