MedImmune Assistance Program for Synagis Starting July 1st 2009, patients with a household income of up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and without healthcare coverage/ medical insurance may be eligible to receive Synagis treatments at no cost. Call the Synagis Reimbursement Hotline at 1-877-778-9010 for more information. For families with health insurance other programs are available to help with deductible and other costs. MOST (Mothers of Supertwins) conducted a survey of parents with multiples (twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc.) designed to develop baseline statistics about the prevalence of divorce among multiple birth parents. Preliminary results data from the survey is now available on the MOST website.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), a time to increase awareness about immunizations. August is the perfect time to remind families to catch up on their vaccinations. Parents are enrolling their children in school, students are entering college, and healthcare workers are preparing for the upcoming flu season. MOST is encouraging all families to check their children's immunization status during the month of August. More information is available on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Web site.
